Our focus is to be a catalyst for long-lasting positive change in [low and moderate income] communities around Brazil, helping families improve their social, economic and environmental conditions through the creation, designing and hand manufacturing of art pieces, fashion accessories, home decor and furnishings made out of recyclable, reusable and sustainable resources of Brazil.

For Creollus to be successful, it is critical that we help our artisans and our customers (retail-partners) meet their needs. Since we have to do this in an incredibly competitive world, we have chosen the sense of unlimited creativity and social-empowerment as the need we wish to fulfill.

how we do it

At Creollus, we work with over 500 artisan partners from Brazil to bring you jewelry,  furniture, home decor, gifts, art pieces and more.

Because what works today won’t be enough tomorrow... our goal is not a destination or a fixed number of retail-partners, but a path we follow day in and day out. By giving a worldwide audience to our artisans’ craft, we’ve been enabling our highly talented artisans to significantly improve their standard of living.

It is important for us to keep in mind that we have an impact on not only our retail partners (and their clients), but on our incredible artisans that will highly benefit from the worldwide audience that their work of art receives.

Based on mutual understanding and respect, we thrive to establish long-term relationships with our artisan partners and our customers (retail partners); and by abiding by fair trade principles we are enabling artisans to earn a fair living wage and providing them the opportunity for a better quality of life.
Also a percentage of our sales is donated back to our artisans as well as to a non-profit Brazilian institution, Semear Educar, a program that focus on the preventive social and educational work with children from 2 to 16 years of age.

Since 2001, Creollus in its continuing mission to bring a large world closer together, has put into action a program through which purchases benefit communities in Brazil.

Purchasing these handmade imported items also helps in another way. By making and selling these goods, people in many of these far away corners of Brazil support their communities and continue traditional crafts that have been a longstanding part of their culture.

In a world of mass production and robotic assembly lines, that human touch, the act of a skilled artisan crafting his work by hand, becomes even more special. These Brazilian goods truly goes ‘From Brazil to the World’.
